What is Meditation and how is it useful for me?

All systems of meditation aim to quiet the mind and nurture the spirit. This takes place through observing the breath and/or certain energy centres in the body (download your FREE Meditation Guide for more information). Focusing awareness within allows one to become "in tune" with themselves in a way that centres them in their own truth, which heals and moves them forward.

The most vital thing is our breath. Because of the breath we have physical and mental activities going on and most of the time the breath is restless and not properly attuned to keep one's awareness expanding continuously. Oxygen is the nutrition of the brain, in fact 20 - 25% of your total oxygen intake goes to the brain, however it is not possible for an ordinary breath to provide the brain with what it needs resulting in restlessness and exhaustion for most.

Through the conscious practice of meditation, one can focus upon the breath and through regular breath, one is attuned to the Divine and life becomes a continuous flow of energy.

Devine Time offers a very simple and fun meditation structure to increase your overall awareness and integrate this calm aspect of ourselves into everyday life.
